Education and Background
Tristan Lépine-Lacroix is a massage therapist with a strong background in movement and physical activity. He studied Community Recreational Leadership at Cégep du Vieux Montréal, where he developed a strong interest in accessibility, physical activity, and promoting well-being through movement.
He later pursued training in massage therapy at Ikra Académie de Massothérapie and the Institut de formation en massothérapie du Québec (IFMQ). His education includes Swedish massage, sports massage, structural myofascial therapy, passive mobilization, prenatal massage, chair massage, and deep tissue techniques. This diverse training allows him to provide therapeutic treatments focused on relieving muscular tension and improving mobility.
Professional Experience
Tristan has gained clinical experience working in multidisciplinary environments where massage therapy supports rehabilitation, recovery, and overall physical well-being. He has worked with clients at Clinique Physio Ergo Sacré-Cœur and Clinique Urgence Physio, supporting individuals recovering from injury, muscular tension, and physical strain.
In addition to his clinical work, Tristan has contributed to the training of future therapists by assisting in the teaching of Swedish massage at Ikra Académie de Massothérapie.
Unique Skill Set
Tristan has lived with a visual impairment since the age of four, which has strengthened his reliance on tactile perception. This heightened sense of touch allows him to carefully identify muscular tension, restrictions, and subtle changes in the body.
His therapeutic approach combines this refined tactile awareness with his massage therapy training, allowing him to deliver focused and attentive treatments tailored to each client’s needs.
Mission and Philosophy
Tristan approaches massage therapy with attentive listening, clear communication, and individualized care. He believes therapeutic massage should support both recovery and long-term physical well-being.
His goal is to help clients reduce muscular tension, recover from physical strain, and maintain mobility so they can move comfortably and stay active in their daily lives.
