Background and Education

Heidi Theriault is a massage therapist, naturopath, educator, and former licensed practical nurse with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. She studied psychology at McGill University, including coursework in neuroscience and forensic anthropology, developing a strong foundation in human biology and behaviour.
​
She later trained in massage therapy at the Académie de Massage Scientifique (AMS), where she studied biocorporal massage, kinetherapy, and lymphatic drainage. She also completed training in Thai reflexology and Thai massage at Lotus Palm Massage School and the Basic Theory PT course through the YMCA Fitness Instructor Training Program. In 2024, she earned certification as a naturopath from ANPQ: L’Association des Naturopathes Professionnels du Québec.

Heidi began her career in healthcare, gaining extensive experience in patient mobility, injury recovery, and supportive care. In 2020, she founded Visacova Santé Massothérapie, a clinic dedicated to therapeutic massage and holistic wellness.

She is the developer of the Sarcomere Massage Technique, a therapeutic approach designed to address muscular dysfunction, chronic tension, and mobility restrictions at their source.

Heidi is recognized for her expertise and frequently receives referrals from healthcare professionals for clients requiring specialized care in rehabilitation and pain management. Her treatments combine scientific understanding of the body with a precise and therapeutic manual approach.
